Compliant Managed Services

Regulatory significant applications must be maintained in a validated state. In many cases Life Sciences organizations see this as 'non-core' business and there is a desire to outsource the management and support of such systems or applications.

Business & Decision provide a number of managed services which provide cost effective and compliant support. This can either be performed ‘on-premise' (with applications based on the client's site) in ‘in-house' (with applications hosted in one of our qualified data centers).

Supported applications may have been implemented by Business & Decision, by the client or by a third party.

Compliant Managed Services include:

 
  • Maintaining the validated state
  • Service (help) desk
  • Database management and tuning
  • Applications support
  • Backup, archiving and restore, disaster recovery
  • Performance monitoring and capacity planning

All services are conducted under the control of defined processes such as service desk, change management and configuration management, usually mapped to ITIL or GAMP® processes. All maintenance and support processes comply with regulatory expectations and are subject to regular internal audit by Business & Decision's IT Compliance specialists.
